Missouri Dressage Classic - complete!

I have all exhibitors posted to my proofing site, including the Prix St. Georges and Missouri State Games awards presentations (those folders are at the very end of the gallery). Thanks to everyone who has already placed orders, and for those of you who haven't been to the proofing site yet, go take a look! This was a fun, albeit large show and it is going back on our calendar for 2010. And speaking of calendar - show managers, if you are interested in booking me for your show in 2010, give me a shout. I will be sending out packets to a few show managers shortly with 2010 information, but the wedding inquiries are rolling in at a steady pace for next year already, so act now to secure your date if you want it!

Missouri Dressage Classic - some brief notes

One of the things I love about my photography is the wide variety of subjects I photograph. As you can see from the posts below this one, I've been on a tear with weddings and human portrait sessions lately. Well, this past weekend I had to shift gears back to equine work with the Missouri Dressage Classic.

I just literally got home and am already beginning editing - so exhibitors, be patient and keep checking my main website (click the proofing link!) regularly as I will be posting riders by alphabetical order, last name. I should have all riders up no later than Thursday evening - as I have three, count 'em THREE weddings next weekend!

I hope I was able to photograph all of the exhibitors who wished to be photographed. I'll have a full-blown blog on the show up shortly with some of my favorite shots from the weekend, but here's a sneak preview for you of Nicole Bellah and the lovely Sydney, winners of Saturday night's Prix St. Georges Jackpot. Audrey + Jordan: After the Wedding

You all might remember Audrey and Jordan's wedding photos from two weeks ago. They were married on the hottest day of the year so far, in an unairconditioned chapel. Everyone was toast after the formals - so we spent a few minutes on bride and groom shots, but I wanted them to have a lot more than the oppressing heat would allow. We agreed to do an "after-shoot" of sorts here in KC, and that was accomplished last night in much more temperate weather. We had INcredible light to work with so I have an over-abundance of shots to go through. Here's a little something to show you the fun we had...

Married: Rebekah + Chris

Rebekah and Chris were married on an overcast 4th of July that threatened rain off and on all afternoon. However, other than one very brief downpour while waiting for the (surprise!) limo, it held off! I'm absolutely burning the midnight oil right now editing...full time job and a completely packed photo schedule? No sweat! (pshaw!)
